RAISING MONEY for HABITAT FOR HUMANITYPosted on: 2009-06-23HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FUNDRAISER
EXIT REALTY GROUP and Habitat For Humanity got together to raise some money on Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg on June 18, 2009. The idea was thought up by Barbara Woods, OWNER/REALTOR®, and her Group Agents. They started with pieces to a Lincoln Log set and charged $1.00 per each piece. Those pieces were 3 sizes in logs, a window, a door, and 2 roof tops. As people paid for the pieces, they were put together to build a tiny log cabin. All the money donated was then given to The Habitat For Humanity. The Group also asked people to volunteer there time and energy to help build an actual home for a family in need. The volunteer list was a Great success!
